Imran, Haider, Kashif to be retested for COVID-19 once again

Lahore: Haider Ali, Imran Khan, and Kashif Bhatti will arrive here tomorrow to give samples for the COVID-19 test, ARY News reported. 

According to details, Haider and Imran had tested negative after two consecutive positive results. Kashif’s third test result is yet to come. According to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), players have to test negative twice after one positive result.

On the other hand, fast bowler Haris Rauf had tested COVID-19 positive for the third time in a row.

On Friday, six cricketers including Shadab Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, and Mohammad Husnain travelled to the UK after tested COVID-19 negative twice.

Earlier, 20 players and 11 members of team management went to England for playing three Tests and as many T20Is in August and September. Currently, the squad is quarantined and also having a training camp in Worcester.
