Babar guides PCB Green to 318-8 on Day 1 of two-day practice match

Worcester: Babar Azam scored 82 runs off 122 balls and drove PCB Green to post 318-8 on the scoreboard on Day 1 of two-day practice match. 

While batting first, Azhar Ali XI lost Shan Masood for 29 runs. The left0handed batsman scored 12 runs. Azhar along with Abid Ali put up a fighting partnership of 110 runs. Abid contributed 71 off 126 balls whereas skipper departed after scoring 47 with the help of nine boundaries.

It was Babar who kept the momentum high and with the help of 13 boundaries, the right-handed batsman scored 82 before being retired. Mohammad Rizwan also scored 47 off 80 balls with the help of seven boundaries.

Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets for PCB Whites while conceding 91 runs. Mohammad Abbas bagged two wickets whereas Naseem Shah and Fakhar Zaman took a wicket each.
